How it works

Less time in a classroom, more time practising.

Our blended courses split the learning in two, so you only need one day away from work or the nursery.

1

Book your place

Choose a date and venue. Pay by card, or ask for a 30-day invoice. Your course login arrives by email straight away.

2

Do the theory online (about 6 hours)

Short videos and quick questions on your phone, tablet or laptop. It saves as you go, so you can fit it around your week.

3

Spend one hands-on day with us

CPR, defibrillators, choking, bleeding and bandaging, practised with a friendly trainer in a small group, at a local school venue at the weekend.

Questions

Good to know

Do I need any first aid experience?

Not at all. Most people on our courses are complete beginners, and our trainers take things step by step.

How long does the online part take?

About 6 hours for blended courses, split into short lessons. It saves as you go, so you can do it over a few evenings.

Is the certificate accepted by Ofsted and employers?

Our courses are built to meet the EYFS paediatric first aid requirement and HSE guidance for workplace first aiders. Certificates are valid for 3 years. Full awarding body details will be listed here before our first courses run.

What if I'm ill on the day?

Send us a note and we'll move you to another date for free. That's our 48-hour illness and transfer guarantee.

Can you train our team at our workplace?

Yes. We can train up to 12 people for £595 + VAT at your premises, or at one of our school venues at the weekend.

Why do the dates show as fully booked?

Our first open dates are full. Join the waiting list for the course and venue you want and we'll email you first as soon as new dates open. There's nothing to pay to join.
